Acknowledging the passing of Kīngi Tūheitia

ANZCA offers heartfelt condolences at the passing of Kīngi Tūheitia Pōtatau Te Wherowhero VII, GCCT KStJ KCLJ.

We acknowledge his legacy of tireless advocacy for Māori, for unity, and for fairness and justice. 

We acknowledge the loss and pain felt by his whānau, Waikato Tainui, and Te Ao Māori, and we offer our support to our Māori trainees and fellows at this difficult time.
