Updated SIRA rate changes – FPM fellows

The NSW State Insurance Regulatory Authority (SIRA) has advised the SIRA set fees for the medical and surgical fees orders have been gazetted and indexed by 4.49%, commencing on 1 February 2025.

The fees orders include: 

1. Workers Compensation (Medical Practitioner Fees) Order 
2. Workers Compensation (Surgeon and Orthopaedic Surgeon Fees) Order 
3. Workplace Injury Management and Workers Compensation (Injury Management Consultant Fees) Order 
4. Workplace Injury Management and Workers Compensation (Medical Examinations and Reports Fees) Order 

You can find the updated fees orders, with a commencement date of 1 February 2025, in the NSW Government Gazette No 27 of 24 January 2025 (other). All updated fees orders and fees and practice requirements documents are available on the SIRA website.
