Fund a Colleague’s Education

ANZCA supports the World Federation of Societies of Anaesthesiologists’ Global Fellowship Programme, which provides skilled anaesthesiologists through low cost, high quality training across Africa, Asia, Europe and Latin America.

There’s a crisis in lower income countries. Globally, five in seven people lack access to safe, affordable surgery and anaesthesia. Through partner hospitals, the World Federation of Societies of Anaesthesiologists (WFSA) offers fellowships at no cost, but donors are needed to support fellows’ travel and living expenses.

Your donations help train more developing country anaesthetists, improving outcomes for thousands of patients. Over a year, $100 per month will support a fellow’s education, travel and accommodation for a full month.

Making a donation

Your fully tax-effective donation can support research or education for continuous improvement in anaesthesia, pain medicine and perioperative medicine. Donations of $5 and above in Australia are tax deductible, and of $2 and above in Aotearoa New Zealand are eligible for tax credits. We respect your privacy and will not use or disclose your personal information for purposes other than that for which it has been provided.
