Recall: ISO-GARD filter for breathing circuits (antimicrobial heat-moisture exchanger) may split or detach

A recall has been issued by Teleflex Medical in Australia and New Zealand for specific lots of ISO-GARD filters, product number 19212 and 19212T. This product is an antimicrobial heat-moisture exchanger filter intended to protect breathing circuits from airborne contaminants. 

Affected products may split or detach during use, potentially resulting in leakage and insufficient air supply to patient. 

Users are advised to check for affected stock, quarantine from use and return to supplier for a credit.
