Environment and sustainability research grant
We're helping to support research exploring the environmental impact of anaesthesia and related products and activities.
The Environment and Sustainability Research Grant is the initiative of a group of anaesthetists to encourage and support research activity towards any or all of the following three objectives:
- To evaluate the environmental impact of current anaesthesia, pain medicine and perioperative practice.
- To evaluate the impact of implementing environmentally sustainable anaesthesia, pain medicine and perioperative care on patient outcomes and cost.
- To establish effective implementation models to promote environmentally sustainable anaesthesia, pain medicine and perioperative management.
Eligibility
- Chief investigator A (first named investigator) must be a fellow or registered trainee of the college. However, if chief investigator A is a registered trainee, one of the other chief investigators must be a fellow of the college.
Entitlements
The funding available for the Environment and Sustainability Research Grant is up to $A25,000.
