Dr Philip Emerson

Dr Philip Emerson is a senior intensive care registrar at The Royal Adelaide Hospital, South Australia. His research interests centre around investigating which patients gain value from an admission to an intensive care unit, particularly post-operatively. 

Philip is currently undertaking a higher research degree at the University of Adelaide investigating how ICU is used after elective surgery in Australia and New Zealand, utilising the ANZICs Adult Patient Database.
