Dr Stephen Lim

Stephen Lim is Principal Research Fellow at University of Southampton. Clinically, he works as an Orthogeriatrician at University Hospital Southampton specialising in the perioperative care of patients with fragility fracture and trauma.

Stephen’s research interests include physical activity, nutrition, lifestyle and digital intervention. He leads a programme of work exploring hospital-associated deconditioning (HAD) and developing novel interventions to ameliorate the deleterious effects of HAD. 

He leads the NIHR Applied Research Collaboration (ARC) Wessex Ageing and Dementia theme.
