New Zealand Annual Registrars' Meeting
The 2024 New Zealand Annual Registrars' Meeting will be held at Auckland City Hospital on Friday 6 December from 1pm.
It provides an opportunity for trainees around New Zealand to present their quality assurance and research projects.
The meeting has been running for 20 years, and the hybrid format resulting from the Covid-19 pandemic has improved its accessibility for those outside of Auckland.
Abstract submissions are now open. Projects can be quality improvement (audits) or original research. The best abstracts will be invited to give an oral presentation to be considered for prizes.
There will be an option for trainees to present and attend remotely. Three prizes are available:
• ANZCA award for best scientific presentation.
• NZSA award for best quality assurance project.
• University of Auckland Caduceus award for excellence in anaesthesiology research.
Deadline for abstract submission: 5pm Friday 8 November.
