Dr Tim Keady
Tim is currently training as a clinical fellow in cardiac anaesthesia at Royal Papworth Hospital, Cambridge.
Originally he studied Process and Chemical Engineering in UCC followed by Medicine at UCC and completed specialist anaesthetic training with the College of Anaesthesiologists of Ireland.
During his training he was elected to the committee of anaesthesiology trainees and helped to create the college's Sustainability Committee, on which he still sits. He is focused on mitigating the environmental damage of healthcare, and particularly of anaesthesia, through data acquisition, analysis, and dissemination. He was the coordinator of Green Anaesthesia Week 2021 and is the anaesthesiology lead for the national nitrous oxide mitigation project, the first joint HSE and clinical sustainability project in Ireland.
