ANZCA regional committees call for new fellow reps

ANZCA regional committees are calling for applications for new fellow representatives to join their committees.

In accordance with regulation 3, 3.6.13, ANZCA Regional Committees will be calling for applications for new fellow representatives to join their committees. Invitations to apply will be sent out via email on 15 July 2024. Please ensure your contact details are current.
 
Essential criteria to apply for positions:

• Applicants must be within three years of attaining fellowship at time of application.
• Applicants must be working in an ANZCA approved training hospital.
• Applicants need to demonstrate commitment to the anaesthesia community through activities such as:
  • Participation in college affairs, committees or activities.
  • Education in anaesthesia.
  • Welfare of college members.
  • Participation in anaesthesia research.
  • Academic activity.
• All applicants must submit a CV that will be reviewed and verified by the relevant ANZCA regional committee.
• Applicants must submit the names of two referees. The referees must be ANZCA fellows, one of whom must be the applicant’s current head or chair of the department.
• Applicants must be able to fulfil the duties of the position for the next two years.
