Desiree Chappell

Desiree Chappell, MSNA, CRNA, FAANA, is the Vice President of Clinical Quality at NorthStar Anesthesia, where she continues to actively participate in clinical practice part-time. She is also the Co-Editor in Chief and Lead Anchor for TopMedTalk, a leading global podcast in Perioperative Medicine and Anesthesia, with over 1,500 episodes and 2.1 million downloads since 2018. Desiree serves on the Board of Directors for EBPOM Global and is a faculty member for the Middle Tennessee School of Anesthesia's Acute Pain Management Fellowship, where she focuses on ERAS and Perioperative Care. Additionally, she contributes to the Anesthesia Patient Safety Foundation as a member of its Infectious Disease Committee.

A passionate advocate for ERAS, Perioperative Care, and Evidence-Based Practice, Desiree has lectured both nationally and internationally. She has facilitated hundreds of conversations with global leaders in these fields, making significant contributions to advancing these critical areas of healthcare.
