Professor Guy Ludbrook
Guy is a practicing clinician at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, with a specific interest in neuroanaesthesia, and postoperative care. He has been published extensively in peer-reviewed literature, and has received approximately $12M in research funding. His current areas of focus include health systems re-design and analysis, and development of new medicines.
He is Director of PARC Clinical Research, an early phase clinical trials unit, with current activity in new drugs for a wide range of conditions, including: analgesia, local and general anaesthesia, mood disorders, Alzheimers and Parkinson's Diseases, Cancer, and Narcolepsy. Guy is one of three investigators running the first Australian Covid vaccine trial and is involved in regulation of medicines and medical devices, though membership of, and advice to, TGA Committees. Guy is also a postgraduate student at London School of Economics.
