Professor Bernhard Riedel is an academic anaesthetist with a primary research interest that focuses on improving surgical outcomes, especially following major cancer surgery. Bernhard also serves as the current Director of the Department of Cancer Anesthesia, Perioperative and Pain Medicine at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, and holds an academic appointment at the University of Melbourne.
