2025 WA ACE Lecture Series
2024 ACE Lecture Series: A Successful Trial and Exciting Developments for 2025
Following the successful trial of the new ACE Lecture Series in 2024, the ACE WA Committee is pleased to announce further developments for 2025, building on the positive outcomes from the past year.
In 2024, the shift from the traditional Autumn Scientific Meeting to a monthly lecture series allowed us to offer more flexibility and a wider range of topics in response to emerging issues in the field. The lecture series provided valuable opportunities for learning and collaboration, with sessions streamed via Zoom, making them accessible to a broader audience across Western Australia.
We are delighted to report that the trial was met with great enthusiasm, with strong participation in both in-person and virtual formats. The monthly themes, covering critical areas such as CICO and ALS, along with the inclusion of workshops and practical sessions, were particularly well received. This new format not only helped meet the increasing demand for virtual CPD options but also maintained the essential face-to-face interactions that fostered networking and collegiality.
As we move into 2025, we are excited to announce the continued development of the CPD program, with plans to enhance the coordination of events and further expand the virtual and in-person learning opportunities. Our focus remains on improving accessibility and addressing the evolving needs of the medical community in WA, ensuring that our members are equipped with the most relevant knowledge and skills.
Stay tuned for more details on the 2025 CPD Lecture Series, including dates and registration information. We look forward to building on the success of this initiative and continuing to support the professional development of all members.
