Recognised ER activities
Emergency response activities require prior recognition of suitability. Before submitting a recognition of suitability application, please read the relevant emergency response guideline. To apply for recognition of suitability, submit the relevant form and your course outline to the CPD team. The team will review your application and forward it for approval by the CPD committee chair. Applications take approximately 10 business days to be processed.
Approved applications
If we approve your application, we'll send you the following:
- Confirmation that the course/workshop delivered from that date is recognised as suitable.
- A recognition of suitability code that ANZCA and FPM CPD Program participants need to record in their CPD portfolios. This recognition code will have an expiry date. Prior to this date, we'll contact the course provider to request a new application or declaration (only ongoing applications).
- Wording to use in advertising materials.
Please note:
- Any changes to the course content will result in the activity no longer being valid as an emergency response activity. If your course/workshop content changes, you'll need to submit a new recognition of suitability application.
- Recognition of suitability is based on the provider confirming that course/workshop content meets the ANZCA and FPM CPD Program requirements. The delivery of course/workshop content is not endorsed, accredited or assessed.
