2025 ANZCA Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM)

On behalf of the regional organising committee, I would like to extend a very warm North Queensland invitation to Gimuy, Country of the Yirrganydji people for the 2025 ANZCA ASM.

Up in Cairns, Far North Queensland you’ll meet between two world heritage areas where the ancient Daintree Rainforest meets the awe-inspiring Great Barrier Reef and understand the importance of ensuring that we are future proofed.  

We are looking forward to showcasing the amazing works and developments in our profession against the stunning backdrop of the surrounds that the committee and I are all lucky enough to call our home. The scientific convenors are developing a program that will inform us, challenge us and promote discussion with an inspiring group of both local, national and international speakers while the workshop convenors are putting together extensive opportunities to support your skills and your CPD requirements.  

I’m confident our evidence based scientific meeting is going to provide the proof we need to provide for the future of our profession, while our discussions on all areas of sustainability will help to future proof both our environment and our own personal wellbeing. 

We have some amazing social events planned at some incredible venues, showcasing the many delights of the tropics and I can guarantee some warmth for those of you from down south as the southern winter bites! 

Come join us in Cairns for learning, networking and socialising in our beautiful hometown, we look forward to seeing you!

The 2025 ASM call for abstracts has now closed and we are unable to accept any further submissions. Authors will be advised in early March if their abstract/s have been accepted for the ASM.
