The ANZCA Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM) is Australasia’s premier anaesthesia meeting, attracting up to 2500 delegates, and offering an outstanding line-up of local and international speakers. We're responsible for training, assessing and the continuing education of anaesthetists and specialist pain medicine physicians in Australia and New Zealand, and for setting the standards in anaesthesia and pain medicine.
ANZCA is the professional membership organisation for more than 6000 specialist anaesthetists and 460 specialist pain medicine physicians who've met our rigorous training or assessment requirements to become a fellow. Our fellows are among the most highly-regarded specialist physicians in the world.
We support research in anaesthesia, pain medicine and perioperative medicine to improve patient outcomes through funding and resources, collaboration, and networks.
