The purpose of the VTC is to:
- Consider issues relating to education and training in Victoria.
- Advise the Education Executive Management Committee (EEMC) via the ANZCA Trainee Committee of any matters in their region that may concern the interests of the College.
- Consider any matters that may be referred to them by the EEMC, the ANZCA Trainee Committee and the Victoria Regional Committee.

The Australian Capital Territory Trainee Committee is an elected body that acts as a conduit between fellows and trainees in the Australian Capital Territory region and the ANZCA Council to which they report.

The New Zealand Trainee Committee (NZTC) advises the NZNC and the ANZCA Council, via the ANZCA Trainee Committee, about training matters in New Zealand that may concern the College.

Elected annually by NSW trainees, the committee act as a conduit between trainees and fellows, as well as with the ANZCA Council.

The Queensland Trainee Committee is an elected body that acts as a conduit between fellows and trainees in the Queensland region and the ANZCA Council to which they report.

The South Australian and Northern Territory Trainee Committee is an elected body that acts as a conduit between fellows and trainees in the South Australian and Northern Territory regions and the ANZCA Council to which it reports.

Elected annually by Tasmanian trainees, the Tasmania Trainee Committee acts as a conduit between trainees and fellows in the region, and the ANZCA Council to which they report.

The Western Australian Trainee Committee is an elected body that act as a conduit between fellows and trainees in the Western Australian region and the ANZCA Council to which they report.
